# Taxy

Taxy is investment tax software for crypto and securities.

## MCP server (AI assistants)

- Address: https://api.taxxy.eu/v1/mcp
- Authentication: OAuth sign-in and approval, or a Pro API key (txy_live_) in an Authorization: Bearer header.
- Imports: Taxy imports CSV and Excel (.xlsx) files in the app. Through the assistant, send CSV (assistants can convert Excel to CSV).
- Free tools: preview_csv_import shows the parsed rows of a CSV file and adds no transactions to the ledger; confirm_csv_import adds those rows after the user says yes in the chat. prepare_wallet_import returns a link to a pre-filled wallet import form; prepare_csv_import holds a CSV file privately for up to 24 hours and returns a link to import it in Taxy.
- Pro tools: transactions, positions, tax_lots, tax_summary; prepare_tax_report points you to your tax report and forms; calculate_taxes runs the tax calculation; generate_report lists your forms and returns a download link valid for 15 minutes.
- CSV transactions are added to the ledger only after the user confirms the preview in the chat. CSV files and parsed preview data may be kept privately for up to 24 hours before confirmation. Stored transactions are never edited or deleted by the assistant. Report download links are signed and expire after 15 minutes; anyone with the link can download the report without signing in. Amounts come from Taxy; check them in Taxy before relying on them.
